Welcome to Darwin Class!
Our class name was chosen by the children following their learning about influential historical figures during the transition days. We are looking forward to learning more about him as we move through the school year.
Darwin class is taught by Mrs Zeil and Miss Thorne; Mrs Zeil is in class the equivalent of three days a week. The children will see both of us across a day. Please see the class timetable for what happens on different days.
We are looking forward to a busy term of learning – do take a look at the Topic leaflet. If you have any questions please do come and speak to either of us. The homework leaflet has also been attached – the expectation is one a week, along with regular reading, practise of spellings and times tables.
REMINDERS: PE will be on a Thursday and swimming on a Friday – children will need to wear their PE kit to school (shorts will need to be worn underneath their trousers).
